How to vote on October 28, 2026

Identification

Identification may be required before you are allowed to vote. You may be asked for one piece of government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's licence or passport, or at least two other documents that prove your identity.

Mobile voting on election day

These mobile polls are for qualified voters who reside at the named health-care facilities.

Apply to vote by sealed envelope (mail-in vote)

If you cannot attend election day or advance voting, mail or email the official Form 26 application to Senior Election Official Twyla Ludwig. The request must be received on or before October 25, 2026. The Municipality identifies email as the quickest method.

• A written application must include photocopies of an official federal, provincial or municipal government document showing your name, address and photograph.
• A ballot package and instructions will be mailed after the application is accepted.
• If the application is received fewer than 12 days before election day, arrange delivery of the ballot package with the Senior Election Official.
• An applicant who applies in person will receive the ballot package at that time.
• The completed ballot must reach the Senior Election Official by 8:00 p.m. on October 28, 2026. Late ballots will not be accepted.

Who can vote

The official application says you must be:

1. a Canadian citizen;
2. at least 18 years old on election day; and
3. a resident or owner of land in the Municipality for at least six months on election day.
